Our logistics expert Michael is a diligent master builder! This time he brought two off-road vehicles from Xingbao to our Brick Studio. Marco takes a close look at the buggy and the off-road vehicle, while Michael reports on his experiences during the construction of the sets.
The Buggy is a small but fine technical model with 537 parts and functioning suspension, steering and 8-cylinder engine. The blue off-road truck has 555 parts, steering and suspension and looks very natural with its brick-built body.
From 13:56 onwards, further models of the Xingbao off-road series can be seen, from four-axle off-road vehicles to monster trucks.

What's behind the giant cardboard box on the studio table? Nothing less than our first modular building! Marco presents our gas station with attached car workshop in detail and also takes a look into the box of the set. 2,283 bricks are packed into the box and wait to be assembled into workshop shelves or petrol dispensers.
The gas station was developed by our designer Alexander Jones, who has hidden a lot of details and exciting construction techniques in the set.
At 6:25 Marco talks about a new printer that has been installed at BlueBrixx headquarters. But what does a printer have to do with this gas station?

What kind of job is this where you get paid for building brick sets? Marco doesn't complain when he gets a Trabant with caravan by Cobi placed on the studio table. He builds the set accompanied by cameras and has a lot to say about the building steps.
Thanks to some special parts, Cobi manages to create an extremely authentic model in 1:35 scale with only 218 parts. Is this still a brick set or is it more like a model car? Marco has his own opinion on this...
We currently have seven different Trabant models by Cobi in our product range, from the classic light blue Trabi to the special Berlin Wall model and a Kübelwagen from the National People's Army.

In addition to many vehicles such as tanks and trucks, BlueBrixx also offers military terrain sets. The tank position, our newest model of this kind, is presented by Marco in this video. From 863 parts, a battle position is created that is sunk into the ground and supported by beams, with trees offering additional camouflage.
Marco shows the model from all angles and spreads out the bags full of bricks contained in the box of this set. With these bricks you could also build a trench, a command post or something completely different...
From 10:32 Marco informs about another novelty: The Opel Blitz already presented in a set with a trailer is now also available without trailer.

The Tank IV was originally developed as a support vehicle with a small number of units, but became the most built German tank combat vehicle. In the second half of the war the Tank IV (or Panzer IV in German) was the most important German tank, even if the Tiger or the Panther are the better known vehicles.
Our newest set has 912 parts and was designed by CustomBricks. Marco explores the details of the model, explains an important building step and takes a look into the box of a Panzer IV. The box is full to bursting!

Cobi has already produced many beautiful and large sets for friends of model ships - sailing ships like the USS Constitution, ocean liners like the Titanic and marine ships like submarines and battleships.
With the flagships of the Japanese Navy of World War II, the Yamato and its sister ship Musashi, Cobi sets a new parts record: The Yamato is an impressive 90 cm long on a scale of 1:300 and consists of exactly 2,500 parts!
Marco and Michael talk about the latest battleship in Cobi's range and compare it with the Tirpitz and the Bismarck. Their conclusion: The Yamato and the Musashi are real premium sets without stickers, with many printed parts and a high degree of detail!

On the weekend of 14-16 June, numerous master builders and brick railway fans met in Leipzig-Schkeuditz to set up and present a huge railway system in the historic tram depot. Many meters of tracks were used to build a large contiguous track layout and many more track meters showed individual dioramas or interesting railway models.
An AFOB (adult fan of bricks) with a large collection of our railway sets took part in the railway layout. So also our passenger and freight cars were pulled by our first locomotive V100 through the layout. On the following photos you can see some highlights of the huge layout - our compliment to all builders!
We are thinking about putting together a sample case with some models. This could be borrowed for exhibitions of this kind. If you are planning to attend a meeting of this kind and want to take our BlueBrixx track with you, please write to us using the contact form.

Normally Marco presents our new BlueBrixx Specials on his own, but this time he has brought Michael into the studio as reinforcement. Together they present our new bricks set of 40 rock elements, 20 each in two variants.
These rocks have a bad reputation with some brick fans and are considered ugly. Marco and Michael don't agree with that opinion! In order to prove that you can build wonderfully with these parts, both builders designed a model with rock elements. They introduce each other to their MOCs (my own creations) and give tips for the use of the rock bricks.
Please note that the first little batch of the rock elements is sold out, but a much larger shipment of rocks is already on its way to Germany and will arrive soon! My tip for you: Use the button "Inform me, when available" on our product page. We will then send you an automated email as soon as the sets is back in stock. You have to be registered for this button to appear, but registration comes with no obligations or advertising from us.

Klaus presents a new Technic model of Qihui - and what a model that is! The battle tank has not only 1,276 parts, but also four motors, a lithium-ion battery and a remote control.
In our Brick Studio Klaus presents the set in detail and explains where to pay special attention when building. He even has a tip on how to reinforce a certain spot with the existing parts.
But any model can drive on a table - a tank belongs in the terrain! That's exactly where Klaus tests the RC model. The chains overcome grass, soil and gradients. Thanks to the good suspension, the tank even travels effortlessly over branches lying around.
The tank is only the flagship of a whole series of new RC models by Qihui in our shop!

We are constantly looking for interesting new articles for our shop. And we have found something exciting! Qihui produces great motorized Technic vehicles with remote control, from off-road vehicles to huge tanks with rotating turret and firing function. The models are powered by a lithium-ion battery included in the sets. Batteries are only needed for the remote control.
Remote-controlled tank measuring 45 x 19 x 26 cm, with 8-channel remote control and lithium-ion rechargeable battery
In addition to the remote-controlled vehicles, we now also have smaller Technic cars with pullback motors in our range. Just pull the model a few centimetres backwards and let go, and it's racing away!
