Vintage swing clock

Pendulum clocks are based on a pendulum law formulated by Galileo in 1632. The first constructed pendulum clocks were still very inaccurate.

It was not until 1657 that this was reduced to +-10 seconds. And it took another 100 years to reduce this to 1 second.
And it took another 100 years to reduce this to 1 second. From 1933, quartz clocks replaced pendulum clocks.
