Dice tower: medieval style
A dice tower is used to prevent manipulation when rolling the dice. A nice side effect is that the dice do not roll over the entire table but are caught.
This is not a recent invention, now that board and role-playing games are gaining in popularity - the first dice towers are known to have been used in late antiquity.
The dragon on the battlements can be removed.
