Los angeles class SSN

The Los Angeles class is a class of nuclear-powered attack submarines. With 62 units laid down between 1972 and 1992, it is the largest class of nuclear submarines to have entered service to date.

Los Angeles-class units serve as escorts in every U.S. Navy aircraft carrier battle group, but they can also be used to attack land targets and conduct reconnaissance.
