Our railway theme was successfully launched last autumn and our first freight wagons were very well received by our customers. We are now expanding the product line with passenger cars, locomotives and accessory sets. Soon we will be offering tracks, switches and buffer stops, eventually even a railway station and a locomotive shed. The current video from the Brick Studio marks the start into the next phase.
Even though the studio table is full of tracks, Marco introduces a building this time: With the German Stellwerk (signal box in English) BlueBrixx releases its first large accessory set for the railway series! As always, Marco has researched some information and takes a look into the box of the set. With 1299 parts there is a lot to see...

Michael has already built several car models of Xingbao, being a big car fan. But now he dared for the first time to build a Technic model. And one with 2,000 parts!
In the video he tells Klaus about this building experience. Together they look at the features of this model, such as suspension, gearshift, engine block and steering. Michael also reveals where he made mistakes during construction - as the Muscle Car isn't quite an entry-level model into the world of Technic stones, but quite ambitious instead.
From 22:56 Klaus shows a programmable robot that can solve magic cubes. And he explains why this exciting set did not make it into our assortment...

Our warehouse is a busy place today - lots of cartons with the Cobi logo are unpacked. Many Cobi articles that were out of stock are now available again, but the delivery also includes six new items:
The two German tanks Tiger I and Panther are now in stock in the World-of-Tanks edition, including the ingame bonus code in the instructions. The third military model to arrive is the 155 mm gun M1 Long Tom.
With the Boeing Starliner space capsule and the Maserati Levante, Cobi is further expanding its line of licensed products. Jack's Pirate Ship, finally, is a small, fine play set with two luminescent lanterns at the stern of the ship.
Here you can find an overview of all Cobi articles in our assortment.

The Brick Studio is currently being modified to reduce reverb and achieve better sound quality in the future. In between we continue to shoot videos, including this one about Manhattan and the fire brigade. But what do our Manhattan modules have to do with the fire brigade? A lot when it comes to the Fire Department New York!
Today Marco presents another model from our series of American fire engines, the Commander Heavy Rescue. This huge "toolbox on wheels" belongs to the elite units of the New York Fire Department.
Here you will find detailed instructions for the large sticker sheet of the US fire engines.

Klaus and Michael meet again in the Brick -Studio, but this time Klaus brings the models with him. They lead high into the air and back to the time of the 2nd World War.
A P-51D Mustang is a P-51D Mustang, right? That's what the two builders ask themselves as they compare two models of this famous American fighter plane. Cobi achieves a very authentic look with many special parts, but Jie Star also has its advantages with classic bricks.
From 12:30, Klaus shows another set - and a garbage can?

At BlueBrixx we want to develop and offer products that inspire AFOBs (adult fans of bricks). But even though we have some AFOBs in our ranks, it's not that easy. For example, it's a big challenge to create a perfect design that will convince even the biggest fans of a theme.
Today Klaus turns the tables at Brick Studio and asks the questions himself! He reports the latest news about our bricks, searches for experts in several fields and asks for feedback on some topics.
This feedback helps us very much, we hope for many comments under our video on Youtube!

Klaus and Michael meet again in the Brick Studio to have a look at the latest building project of our logistics expert: The LCVP-Higgins boat was involved in many landing operations during World War II, including D-Day in Normandy.
After a thorough look at Cobi's model, Klaus suddenly pulls out a marker pen. What is he up to with that pen?

A new face in the Brick Studio!
Today our founder Klaus and our logistics specialist Michael sit together in the Brick Studio to talk about one of the most famous German ships: Michael built the Bismarck by Cobi and tells Klaus about this model and his building experience. Assembling 1974 parts is no small task!
Klaus contributes some historical details and both look at the many special parts that Cobi has produced. They also compare the model with the sister ship Tirpitz, which Marco builds and presents in other videos on our Youtube channel.
From 12:57, Klaus shows a small but fine Technic model by Qihui, a wheel loader with sophisticated functions.

2019 will be a great year for brick fans with a lot of new products. Soon we will receive a Xingbao delivery with new sets and many new BlueBrixx specials are being developed and produced. Cobi will also be releasing many new products in 2019 and some of them are already in stock! Here are some examples:
For the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall Cobi offers a special set with Trabant, a piece of the Berlin Wall, a watchtower and a barrier. We now have five variants of the legendary Trabant in our range, including a NVA Kübelwagen.
If you prefer more sleek cars, Cobis Maserati models are the right choice for you. These are now reinforced by a Maserati garage, which also includes two cars, the GranCabrio Sport and the Levante. The Maserati Ghibli could also be repaired there.
In addition to their cars, Cobi is also known for a wide range of military sets. A new arrival is the Sherman M4A1, which served the US Armed Forces well in World War II. The modern Jeep Wrangler in the design of the US Army was still science fiction when the Sherman was in duty...

Hello dear AFOB (adult fan of bricks),
Unfortunately, the Silberling passenger car is sold out again just a few hours after its release.
We are not happy about that either.
The problem are the long delivery times. We ordered a model like the Silberling, which got released yesterday, 4-5 months ago. Of course we already knew since 2-3 months that the number of pieces was too low, but we couldn't change that anymore. Of course we'll order more now. And of course we already reordered the Silberling.
What does that mean for you now? Until the summer the delivery situation should get better. Out-of-stock models come back, we produce each set again. There will always be a model in the future that will sell out quickly, but not as often and not as quickly.
The great feedback from our customers encourages us to develop even more new models for you. 2019 will be another exciting year! We promise.
Your Klaus
